Umbrella Cooperative Agreement
Beginning in 1995, AAIP successfully competed for a national umbrella cooperative agreement from the Office of Minority Health (OMH) and established a relationship with OMH that continues today. Through this partnership AAIP is able to provide assistance and address health disparities in AI/AN communities.
Today, AAIP continues to provide support and guidance as the lead organization on many of the projects funded under the OMH agreement. AAIP also collaborates with numerous other agencies and organizations on flow through projects with the ultimate goal of improving the health status of minorities and under-served populations.
