AAIP President Testifies at Nomination Hearing of AAIP Member Dr. Yvette Roubideaux

Dr. Yvette D. Roubideaux and Dr. Gerald Hill appeared
before the Senate Indian Affairs Committee Thursday, April 23 as it
considered Roubideaux’s nomination to be Director of the Indian Health
Service. Hill, who is President of the Association of American Indian
Physicians, supported the nomination. Chairman Dorgan and Vice Chairman
Barrasso also said they intend to vote for her confirmation. The
