Virginia Leflore Marshall Foundation offers financial assistance to members of the Association of Native American Medical Students
The Association of American Indian Physicians is pleased to announce that the
Virginia Leflore Marshall Foundation is offering financial assistance to members
of the Association of Native American Medical Students (ANAMS). The intent of
this award is to encourage students to maintain strong community and family
relationships during the holiday season, without incurring financial hardships.
The Marshall Foundation award is in the amount of $500 and is to be spent on
anything, other than school expenses.
Submit the following 3 items for consideration:
1. Marshall Foundation Application 
2. CV / Resume
3. One-page “Thank You” letter to the Marshall Foundation Fund - In your
letter, describe how you intend to use the scholarship on something other than
school expenses. Also include a summary of AAIP Programs you participated in
this past year and activities you were involved in on a local level to support the
ANAMS mission statement.
Applications must be in the AAIP office by 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time,
November 21, 2008. Award recipients will be notified the following week.
