Association of American Indian Physicians Conference
48th Annual Meeting & Health Conference August 8–11, 2019
Shoring Up Native American Health
AAIP conducts a national health conference to serve as a forum for healthcare professionals, policy makes, and tribal/community members concerned with American Indian/Alaska Native health, healthcare, community wellness, and honoring Native Traditions.
For almost 50 years, we have gathered together to discuss the pressing health concerns of American Indians/Alaska Native across the nation. Improving the quality of health care and access to needed medical services is very important. To do this, it is essential to consider a variety of ideas about health care that could potentially make a positive impact.
In support of improving patient care, IHS Clinical Support Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
