46th Annual Meeting and National Health Conference

"Healthy Nations:  Update in Metabolic & Substance Use Disorders in Indian Country”

Grand Casino & Resort, Shawnee, OK
July 27-30th, 2017

AAIP conducts a National Health Conference to serve as a forum for healthcare professionals, policy makers, and tribal/community members concerned with American Indian/Alaska Native health, healthcare, community wellness, and honoring Native traditions.

“Buffalo Prayers” To say thank you to the Buffalo for everything you did for us.  You clothed us, fed us, provided shelter for us.  You are a magnificent creature and animal.  One of God’s great gifts, thank you for all that you’ve done for us. ----Joe Don Brave

For over 40 years, AAIP has gathered together to discuss the pressing health concerns of American Indian/Alaska Natives across the nation.  Improving the quality of health care and access to needed medical services is very important.  To do this, it is essential to consider a variety of ideas about health care that could potentially make a positive impact.  AAIP also offers student/physician networking opportunities to foster the next generation of AIAN physicians

AAIP is grateful to all the attendees, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, vendors and students for participating in this important conference.
