Call for Abstracts is OPEN!!
 
SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  February 9, 2015
 
This year's American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting & Expo will take place
October 31 - November 4, 2015 in Chicago, IL.
 
"Health in all Policies"
 
The Caucus invites abstracts for papers addressing health programming, research, and policy for Native populations and the conference theme of "Health in all Policies."  Abstracts that specifically address (but are not limited to) the following areas are encouraged:
▪ Health Research Ethics & Policy: Impact on Indigenous Communities▪

▪ Tribal & Community-Driven Health Policy ▪

▪ Translating Research into Policy for AI/AN/NH Health ▪

▪ Indigenous Approaches to Public Health Research & Policy ▪

Special consideration may be given to submissions that reflect community-based and community-led projects or research, student submissions, or youth-led projects.  Authors whose work reflects these areas should specifically note this in the abstract text.
 
SUBMISSION PROCESS:
 
Abstracts MUST be submitted through the APHA website at: https://apha.confex.com/apha/143am/aiannhc.htm no later than February 9, 2015.
 
Abstracts should be no more than 250 words, and must follow the general APHA guidelines for submission.  Submissions that do not comply will not be reviewed.

There will be NO EXTENSIONS for submission granted, so please submit your abstract early and/or by the deadline.
