Tribal Health Stories

Tribal Health Stories: Stories of Self-Determination from Tribes

AAIP has partnered with the Office of State, Tribal, Local and Territorial Support (OSTLTS), National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP), Dr. Doris Cook, and tribal communities to gather a compendium of evidence-based, culturally appropriate intervention success stories that will be disseminated to tribal health departments, tribes, American Indian/Alaska Native organizations, AAIP members, government agencies, and other partners.

The goal of this project is to increase awareness and knowledge of culturally appropriate, evidence-based tribal public health intervention and strategies that can be replicated in other tribal communities.
