Advances in Indian Health Care

The AAIP Advances in Indian Health Care Program is funded through a grant from the Office of Minority Health. Through this program, AAIP will address health disparities by improving health care workforce development and cultural and linguistic competency in American Indian/Alaska Native healthcare and will increase the diversity of the health professions workforce through recruitment and training for American Indian/Alaska Native students.

AAIP is committed to helping Native students achieve success and will work to increase the number of American Indian/Alaska Native students trained and employed in the health professions by encouraging students to explore health careers, providing services that aid them in competing for entrance into and graduation from health professions training programs.
