2023 American Indians Accessing Health Professions Workshop

The Association of American Indian Physicians and Western University of Health Sciences announce the 2023 American Indians Accessing Health Professions Program!

The American Indians Accessing Health Professions Program is a two day program designed to encourage more American Indian/Alaska Native students to pursue health professions. This workshop is designed for freshmen and sophomore students at community colleges, tribal colleges or universities who may have an interest in pursuing careers in medicine. Students will receive educational sessions on different health careers, health school admissions, financial aid, research opportunities and problem-based learning.

This year’s AIAHP will take place at Western University of Health Sciences and selected students will have all travel, food, lodging and program expenses paid by AAIP and our partner institutions the Association of American Medical Colleges, City of Hope, University of California Davis, Stanford University, University of California Los Angeles and California University of Science and Medicine.
