Why Join AAIP?
Since 1971 the Association of American Indian Physicians (AAIP) has supported the recruitment of American Indian and Alaska Natives into health professions. As AAIP members, more than 412 American Indian/Alaskan Native residents, licensed or retired Allopathic or Osteopathic physicians, express their commitment to pursuing excellence in Native American health care by promoting education in the medical disciplines, honoring traditional healing principles and restoring the balance of mind, body, and spirit.
Membership in AAIP offers a vast pool of opportunities for career growth through networking with other Native physicians across the country as well as opportunities to support future generations of Native health care providers by serving as role models for a variety of AAIP student programs.
As an added value Association of American Indian Physicians members also have exclusive access to our new online member community! Our new member-centric website offers personal member profiles, member directory, events, news, blogs, photo galleries, social networking, and so much more. Most importantly, our community creates a safe secure environment for connecting with fellow members and keeping in touch with over 380 member physicians from our organization. We encourage you to join, build a profile and explore the new online membership directory.
