We Are Healers will be hosting the Healers Hangout: Fall Welcome Virtual Event September 25, 2025—a free, 3-hour Zoom gathering for Native high school and college students interested in exploring or pursuing careers in healthcare.

This event is designed to welcome Native students into the new school year with encouragement, practical advice, and a strong sense of community. Students will have the opportunity to choose from four unique presentations, including:

  • A Native Student Mentor Panel
  • An Admissions 101 session with Dr. Joy Dorscher
  • A Native Healthcare Professionals Panel
  • An Exploring Health Career Pathways presentation with Healers Community Circle cohort Savannah Lukkes (Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe)
