PRIDOC 2026 November 30 – December 4

Please consider joining a cohort of AAIP members in Taiwan (Nov 30th-Dec 4th) for the 2026 Pacific Region Indigenous Doctors Congress (PRIDOC).

For those of you not familiar with PRIDOC, the Congress was formed in 2002 by the Native physicians groups of New Zealand, Hawaii, and Australia to chart a path toward improved health outcomes for Indigenous communities in the Pacific by centering Indigenous values, knowledge, languages and healing practices. Canada, Taiwan, and the US (except Hawaii,who is a founding member group) joined later.

This year, the Congress is being held in Taoyun City, Taiwan, by the Medical Association of Indigenous People of Taiwan (MAIPT). One evening of the event is dedicated to cultural sharing and we hope to have a strong showing of representatives from AAIP to convey the diversity of U.S. Tribal nations.
