2015 NIDDK Travel Scholarships to the 44th AAIP Annual Meeting and Health Conference

A limited number of travel awards will be offered to American Indian/Alaska Native undergraduate students who may have an interest in biomedical research relating to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) mission areas, including diabetes, endocrinology, metabolism, nutrition, obesity, and digestive, liver, urologic, kidney and hematologic diseases. As a recipient of this award, students will receive paid travel expenses, lodging and per diem to the AAIP Annual Conference that will be held in Tulalip, WA on July 28-August 2, 2015. Students will be required to attend a Workshop on NIDDK Research Training Opportunities while at the Annual Conference.
To apply for a travel award, students must submit an AAIP Primary Data Sheet, have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and have an interest in NIDDK scientific research areas. The deadline to submit an application and all required documentation is Tuesday, June 30, 2015 and the application must be received by the AAIP office on this date. Late applications will not be considered.
