47th Annual Meeting & Health Conference

Interweaving Strands of Our Past, Present & Future in Medicine

During the 47th Annual Meeting & Health Conference, we had over 200 physicians, students, and other healthcare professionals engaging in sessions covering a vast array of topics.  Preceding the start of the conference was a 2-day Pre-Admission Workshop sponsored by the University of Minnesota, Duluth – Center of American Indian & Minority Health.  This event provides information and skills necessary to succeed in the medical and health-profession school admission process. 

On July 25th, there was a pre-conference session held titled “Opiate Use Disorder in Indian Country: Best practices for prevention and treatment”.
