This years Cross Cultural Medicine Workshop has an added bonus and will be held with a one-day Data Into Action workshop that will focus on using data to conduct community needs assessments and more. The Data Into Action training is a free workshop that will be held at the Hotel Santa Fe in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Deadline to sign-up for both workshops is Friday, April 11th, 2014.

The Association of American Indian Physicians, through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Office for State, Tribal, Local and Territorial Support (OSTLTS), has partnered with Dr. Janis Campbell and Amanda Janitz to provide a one-day training called Data Into Action that will focus on using data to conduct community needs assessments in American Indian communities and provide need based data for grant opportunities. The workshop will be on April 24, 2014, in Santa Fe, NM and will be in conjunction with AAIP’s Cross Cultural Workshop, April 25-26, 2014 at the Hotel Santa Fe in Santa Fe, NM. (Please bring your laptop for hands on learning).
