Message From Margaret Knight
October 1, 2015
Dear AAIP Members, Students and Friends,
Wednesday, September 30, 2015 was my last day with AAIP and I sincerely want to thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be part of AAIP for 28 years. I am honored and blessed to have been a part of the AAIP family. I have enjoyed my time here and meeting AAIP members and students who attended the various AAIP annual meetings, NNAYI and workshops throughout the years. I truly appreciate the support and encouragement from everyone to complete the challenging and often difficult work. I was fortunate to work with many talented and wonderful staff and without their dedication and hard work could not have been successful. I especially want to thank the AAIP Board of Directors that I have worked with over the years, for their leadership and guidance. I want to congratulate Ms. Polly Olsen on her selection at the the new AAIP Executive Director. She brings so much experience and energy to the organization and I have no doubt that she will lead AAIP to greater heights. I will always remember and cherish my time with each and everyone of you. I wish AAIP the very best in its efforts to increase the number of American Indians/Alaska Native health professionals and improving the health of Native peoples. I hope this is not goodbye and look forward to seeing you at an AAIP annual meeting or workshop in the future.
Respectfully,
Margaret Knight
