The Center for American Indian Resilience (CAIR) announces a video contest for American
Indian youth. The video contest invites youth, grades 7-12, in groups of 2-3, to think about
resilience and tell us about it!


Resilience is the ability to recover or bounce back after experiencing tough times. American
Indians have been resilient throughout the centuries by overcoming many hardships over time.


• What does resilience mean to you?
• What makes your community resilient?
• Why is resilience important to your community?
• Share a story of resilience.
