2023 Diversity Travel Scholarship
December 20, 2022
New Diversity Travel Scholarship to increase awareness of addiction medicine careers.
ASAM’s Diversity Travel Scholarship provides funding to individuals identified as a member of an underrepresented group in the medical field to attend ASAM’s 2023 Annual Conference, April 13-16, 2023 in Washington DC.
This scholarship program aims to increase awareness of addiction medicine careers to individuals identified as a member of an underrepresented group in the medical field who would otherwise not be able to attend an ASAM Annual Conference due to financial constraints.
Funds awarded annually are intended to cover travel cost, and other incidental expenses to attend the 2023 ASAM Annual Conference. The award also includes complimentary registration to the Conference.
While not mandatory, applicants are encouraged to present their research during a poster session. ASAM will reopen the Call for Abstracts from January 2-20, 2023, for poster presentations only.
