NTHC Workshop Proposal Deadline Extended to May 23!

The National Indian Health Board (NIHB) is extending the deadline to submit workshop proposals for the 2025 National Tribal Health Conference (NTHC) to Friday, May 23, 2025.

We invite Tribal leaders, health and public health professionals, policy specialists, advocates, and allies to submit proposals for this year’s conference, which will be held September 7–12, 2025, in Chandler, Arizona.
With the theme “Culture Is Medicine; Community Is Healing,” NTHC 2025 will focus on five key Content Areas:

Health Promotion and Disease Prevention
Behavioral Health
Public Health Policy, Infrastructure, and Systems
Advocacy
Strengthening Health Care Delivery in Indian Country

To support prospective presenters, NIHB recently hosted a Workshop Proposal Webinar that walked through what makes a strong proposal and what reviewers are looking for. If you missed it, click the button below to watch the recording.

This is your opportunity to share your experience, insights, and innovations with more than 1,500 attendees from across Indian Country. We are especially looking for action-oriented proposals that uplift underrepresented voices, incorporate Tribal or Indigenous perspectives, and promote real solutions to improve health in our communities.
