Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) application is now open!

The SHPEP application will open on November 1, 2024, at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. We are excited to announce that this year’s SHPEP application includes the Minority Serving Institution Pathway Initiative (MSIPI). MSIPI is an AAMC-funded initiative integrated into the SHPEP application process. This means that by completing a single application, you can apply to both SHPEP and MSIPI sites. You can select up to 3 locations in total (including both SHPEP and MSIPI sites). Don’t miss your chance to apply to this transformative program with a proven legacy of success. Over 65% of SHPEP scholars who apply to medical and dental schools are accepted, and more than 78% of scholars go on to earn advanced degrees.
